Voting Rights

Every American deserves the right to cast their vote. Unfortunately, too many Americans are being denied a vote, either because they don’t have proper identification, live in a marginalized area, or simply cannot make it to a polling station because their boss won’t give them time off work.

This is undemocratic, and we should do everything in our power to enable our citizens to vote. We should extend voting days to include weekends, set up more polling stations, automatically register every citizen to vote when they get their ID, make it easier to vote by absentee ballot, and stop politicians from gerrymandering districts.

There is no excuse for putting up barriers to keep a large portion of our population from participating in our democracy.
